How can I get single game tickets?
Munn Ice Arena is sold out on a season ticket basis for Spartan Hockey games. Tickets do however still become available either by games that are not included on the student season ticket package and unused or returned tickets from visiting schools (usually returned the week of game). Call the Athletic Ticket Office for availability.

I have a Standing Room Only (SRO) ticket, where do I sit?
A SRO ticket does not give you a seat in Munn Ice Arena. With the SRO ticket, you are able to stand at any location along the concourse area.
I am interested in purchasing Hockey Season tickets.
Season tickets are not available to new customers. We are sold out on a renewal basis. There is no "Waiting List," any seats that open up will be filled by Ralph Young Fund donors.
Do you have any tickets for the hockey games at Joe Louis Arena?
The Athletic Ticket Office does receive an allotment for the games @ Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, however we usually do not receive those until a month prior to the event. We do sell away hockey tickets through our office. Some games may be limited to certain Ralph Young Fund donor levels.
How do the CCHA playoffs work?
The new CCHA Postseason Tournament structure, which will be in place for the upcoming 2001-02 season, will include all 12 teams. The top six finishers during the regular season will host a first-round, best-of-three series. The winners of the six first-round series will then advance to Joe Louis Arena for the CCHA Championship where they will be re-seeded based upon their regular-season finish. The top two remaining seeds will receive quarterfinal-round byes while the No. 3 seed will face the No. 6 seed and the No. 4 seed will take on the No. 5 seed. The two new quarterfinal-round games will take place on Friday, pushing the semifinals and championship game back to Saturday and Sunday. The lowest seed to advance from the quarterfinals will take on the No. 1 seed in the semifinals, while the No. 2 seed will play the other remaining team. The winners will then advance on to the CCHA Championship. The winner of the CCHA Tournament will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
How do the NCAA playoffs work?
On "Selection Sunday", 12 teams are selected to play in the NCAA playoffs for a chance to play in the "Frozen Four". We will not know with whom, when or where we will participate until selections are made.
Do you sell-out of Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets?
We do not normally sell-out of SRO tickets except for the game against University of Michigan. We do sell SRO at Munn Ice Arena the night of the game as long as available. They are available at the ticket offices located at the West and East entrances to Munn.
Can I buy Standing Room Only for every game?
Yes, as long as the game is sold out of regular seats. Some games may have seats left for sale if the game was not included on the Student Season ticket package. Sometimes visiting teams return tickets the week of the game. We will not sell or stop selling SRO until all seats are sold.
I lost my ticket for the game, what can be done?
We can write a "Seat Pass" however please be aware that there will be a charge for seat replacements. Fill out a "Pass Request." The passes must be picked up at the Athletic Ticket Office or from Munn Ice Arena the night of the game. We do not mail seat passes.
Students:
I am a student, when will I receive my application for Hockey Season tickets?
Information is mailed to student's campus address in mid-September. Students may call the Athletic Ticket Office or check the ATO website for the availability.
Can my student hockey season tickets be mailed to me?
No, students pick up their Hockey Season tickets from the Athletic Ticket Office. The students are assigned a pick up day and time based on when they first enrolled here at MSU. When they pick up their season tickets, they can pick the plan they are choosing and their seating location depending on what is available.
I cannot make my pick up time to get my season tickets?
Another student can pick up season tickets for someone as long as they have their student ID. One person is allowed to bring at most four ID's. If they still cannot pick up on their scheduled day, they are able to pick up on the following day and choose a seat and plan based on what is available.
How do I become a member of the Slapshots?

How many tickets are students allowed to purchase?
Students are allowed one per student ID or two if married. Proof of marriage must be shown prior to placing the order.
I lost my Hockey Season ticket, what do I do now?
